The mountain of shit theory

Whose prodest?

Whose prodest?

Years ago I wrote that Italy would lose 60% of its industrial fabric in a few years, and I was wrong. But not on the 60% of industrial fabric lost: Italian politics has managed to plaster the process and slow it down, so it is going to last a few more years.

This slowdown succeeds in avoiding the sense of alarm that would be produced by a sudden collapse: if Italy had lost the textile, the furniture industry, the car industry, the cement industry and the steel industry in the same two years, probably someone would have noticed.

On the contrary, by diluting things over time, everything is getting longer, and people do not feel alarmed: every year we lose "a little", but not much. Thus we see a "slight" deterioration of the situation. It should be compared to 20 years ago to see the difference. But Italian has very little memory of the past.

The thing I hate when I mention this process, however, is that from that moment on we go in search of the forces that push in this direction, GIVING FOR DISCOUNTED THAT ARE FOREIGN.

So, gentlemen, I have bad news: this disintegration of the Italian industrial fabric did not decide a foreign country, a foreign system of interests or a strong foreign power.

You decided YOU.

Perhaps now you will expect me to explain why the foreigner X doesn't want Italy so badly, and I try to defend them. But I never defend. The defense is defeated in itself: only aggression leads to victory. No one has ever won anything by defending themselves.

So let's see what are the Italian forces that want to destroy the great Italian industry.

The Mafia.

The Mafia can exist and prosper only in a context of unemployment, poverty, misery and ignorance. As long as a place is prosperous, the Mafia may perhaps use it to launder dirty money, but it is unlikely that it will be able to recruit its most sinister elements. Why would a person who goes to live as a well-off, sleep peacefully and build a peaceful life should go and live the life of the sub-human of the mafia? The mafia's first enemy has always been economic development.

Industrial development is the type of economic development that the Mafia fears most. For one reason: it requires a very high level of education, and a type of education that aims at organizing processes. It also requires a more efficient public administration, which automatically conflicts with the corruption needs of the mafia.

When a government is influenced by the Mafia, its hidden agenda will be one of industrial disintegration. The first of the agencies that are "plotting" to destroy Italian industry is the mafia.

The Catholic Church.

Don't fool yourself, they will NEVER change. The Catholic Church, like the Mafia, lives and thrives in a situation of pain, suffering, misery and ignorance. All other environments limit their influence. As if that were not enough, all the social conquests that the adverse Catholic Church came with the industrial revolution, and the social changes that it triggered.

As if that were not enough, an industrial economy pushes people to undertake a course of study oriented towards technical, scientific and mathematical disciplines. All disciplines that the Catholic Church hates, because they couple very badly with the mass of ridiculous superstitions and meaningless rituals that the church propagates, accompanies and blesses.

In a country strongly influenced by the Catholic Church, the industry will be opposed, limited, defamed, and the hidden agenda of the Church will always be to make it disappear. The church finds itself well only in rural, poor, miserable contexts in every human sense (if you want to whip undisturbed children, you must be able to count on a layer of omerta that involves parents), and terrified by some non-existent punishment.

Conte is an emissary of the Catholic church, which evidently wanted to take back Taranto. Obviously, she succeeded. After the closure of the ILVA, taranto will be a feast of pedophile priests who will buy children for one euro a kilo, counting on the society's omerta and the ignorance of the locals, who will regress: what's the use of being engineers if it doesn't exist industry? Tantovale to study the history of the Renaissance and try "the competition". For which the church will be happy to recommend you, if you only bring your child to catechism. Where they will bugger him.

The "entrepreneurs".

Let's face it: big industry is the place where trade union struggles were born. It is the only private sector where a woman has a glimmer of hope of being hired and of enjoying the right to motherhood. It is the only really unionized place. It is the only place where people expect a career.

A large industry does nothing more than create a competitor in terms of remuneration and rights. Once 30% of the population has learned to work having rights, a career and a certain salary, it is very difficult for the small entrepreneur to enslave to the duty of young people. Clearly those who will remain with him will be those who fail to enter the big industry and the state.

The categories of traders and small businesses, always looking for slaves to be underpaid or not paying at all, are sworn enemies of big industry. In the "perfect" world of these "entrepreneurs", large industries are abroad (so they do not give strange thoughts to young Italians) and small ones in Italy, so as to have desperate young people willing to be exploited.

The universities'.

The Italian industry for universities and the academic world has always been the cornerstone of scandal. First of all, for many years there were very few young people who, in certain subjects, were willing to be enslaved in the eternal underpaid PhD. To find a graduate student or researcher in many engineering faculties they had to jump through hoops, and put contracts on paper first. The young engineer had a choice, why should he lend himself to a humiliating university career?

Furthermore, the industry snubbed (and still snubs) academics. If in the humanistic world the word "prof." Is a kind of religious office (think of Avv.Prof for lawyers, for one thing), in the world of industry these are titles that are viewed with skepticism, if not derision . I must not necessarily mention the diatribe between Tanenbaum and Linus to explain the reasons.

Furthermore, the industry pressures the government to produce more graduates. This creates the condition for which the degree is not that absurd medieval privilege for which the student will be willing to idolize (when not "received in private") some academic.

Local politics.

Let's face it: in a world of unemployed, doing politics is simple. Just promise a piece of bread to the desperate, talk about "Citizenship income", promise jobs and recommendations, and buy votes.

Italian politics lives on desperation; in a world with many large industries we talk about the environment, school, security, equal rights, and for the political life becomes difficult. When there is little heavy industry we talk about one thing: jobs, salaries and money.

In the panorama of devastation that will emerge from Taranto, politicians will no longer have to talk about the environment. They will no longer have to talk about schools, social services, women's rights or the protection of homosexuals. Suffice it to say "if you want, I'll put a word to the competition for traffic policemen, but your whole family must vote for me", and it's done.

Moreover, the presence of industrialists introduces a type of power with which you have to mediate, because the mayor of a small town that has a large company, and perhaps only one, actually takes orders from the CEO.

All the local political class is, was and remains hostile to the existence of large industries. And when politics "decentralizes", immediately local leaders try to destroy it.

The banking system.

For an Italian bank, which is very small compared to the rest of the world, big industries are a problem. First of all, because financing them requires a level of relationship that is not the simple mortgage of the PMI "that if you don't pay, I'll take home". If a bank finances a large industry it takes a big risk, and if those go bankrupt, the bank does not have the chance to "take you home".

Instead, it is an immense source of power to have a population of SMEs, small artisans, traders and small professionals "absolutely blackmail". No banker wants to discuss on equal terms.

For the banking system the existence of other industries is a tragedy, also because they are competitors on the territory. Without large industries, those who have to finance some new activity must necessarily go to the bank, and if the activity is cultural it must necessarily ask a "foundation", which happens to be almost always financed by a bank.

If there is a big industry, first of all they often have their foundations, and then they finance (directly or not) companies, when they do not directly build the infrastructures they serve, "pro bono". I saw cities in the south where Enichem had built entire neighborhoods, aqueducts and high schools. Which without Enichem would have been possible only with the support of local bankers, and their "foundations".

The world of culture.

In a country with great industry, culture tends to move towards the scientific, engineering, technical and mathematical world. Culture at that point has space as a service for the middle class that derives from the same industry.

The trouble with this approach is that at that point there is a world of culture that lives on revenue. On the contrary, if we talk about a poor population, a disintegrated economy without middle class, the whole culture is in the hands of "donations" and contributions from the state. This creates a world of culture in which the "barons" dominate, capable of attracting pseudo-patronage, which fill the place with cultural events that nobody cares about, which are financed by the state, church or banks, and no one he goes to see the takings: the baron can place his sons and sluts, and who cares if he lacks talent?

An industrial world, on the other hand, has a culture system where there are successful cultural events that are justified by the proceeds. This creates a distinction between those who are talented and those who are not, and the baron becomes the loser of the moment who begs for money from the patrons, while those with talent receive money from the public, become famous and have social success.

The Italian world of culture and the arts has the industrial society as its enemy, because it creates a type of artist who lives from his own work, rather than the "donations" of the various barons, politicians, banks and other powers.

As you can see, I don't need to bring up foreigners to find the enemies of Italian industry. Just look for them in Italy. There are plenty of them, and they hold enormous power over the government.

But the thing that matters most is that these powers ARE YOU LIKE. All. You can give me all the speeches you want about how much you hate the mafia, for example, but the satisfaction you feel in proving that "there is also in the north" makes me understand where you stand. The mafia, if you are southern, makes you feel important, powerful, inflates your ego because it lets you deceive yourself of having created something important in the world, and the satisfaction in your voice (even in that of Saviano) with the which you tell others that the problem "is also where you live": Because if the mafia is strong, you feel strong. If it seems unstoppable, you feel unstoppable. The truth is that the discourses on the mafia are an extension of your ego, a social recovery with the fascination of evil.

And I could go on with complacency towards the Catholic Church, whose sins and horrible crimes you don't want to judge for your children, with your idea of art and culture opposed to the "mathematics of cold numbers" (replaced today by hatred towards "l") 'algorithm "), with the motto" small and' beautiful ', with the adoration you have towards small towns and their empty life (which you call simple when it's just useless) with the myth of small banks "where you can talk with the director "(and has a comfortable sofa in his office, Weinstein-like) and all the rest.

The truth is that Italy is losing its industry due to forces that are almost entirely inland to the country. Forces that have a face.

Your.

The collapse of Italian industry is something you are longing for. You are wanting it, you are building it, with the precise aim of building the only reality in which you yourself recognize yourself.
