The mountain of shit theory

And on New Year’s Eve, fake news orgy.

Since Marcello Foa was appointed co-director of LaStampa, Repubblica and Corriere, there are days in which the effect is that of a kind of fake news orgy that rains on Italy. I must say that in these days I have seen everything, but there are some things that I would like to point out.

The first concerns the EU-China agreement. It is not a trade agreement, but a political agreement. It has nothing to do with a "trade" agreement, or a "military" agreement. If Foa's followers weren't stuck in 1600, they would understand that we cannot marry a son of Von Der Leyen with a descendant of Xi Jinping to get what we want: in 202 0 1 it takes a political agreement.

Today it works like this, get over it. Moreover, Marco Polo already describes a Chinese political marriage of the times, and a brilliant picture does not emerge, especially the part in which they bind the "recalcitrant" spouses in a position that forced them to copulate, something that the two had no intention to do. (If anyone knows how to bind two people to this end, post it somewhere. I care.)

So I'm sorry for anyone who wants to shovel shit on this deal, but calling it "preliminary" or "impractical" means nothing. It is an agreement of principle, or a political agreement. If you really stayed in 1600, think of Renzo and Lucia making a preliminary agreement. You have the background pandemic anyway. It is a political agreement. Sooner or later those of Limes also arrive, come on, which are still at 1800, but not at 1600.

Another journalist says that this agreement will have to be approved by the EU parliament, on which it will fall by surprise as if it were any English parliament, which according to some could refuse it due to the human rights situation. If at least these reporters read the official papers, they would know that China has agreed to go ahead with the implementation of the forced labor agreements, and with its abolition: today it has only adhered to two of the four points. So the agreement is an improvement of human rights. Who should block it "for human rights", the fortune tellers of the press do not say.

The second fake news is that according to which Germany has bought more vaccines than those assigned in the EU, and that is why it is vaccinating more than Italy. Marcello Foa's lust must be understood, given that at the beginning it was born from the London-based Reuters, which does not give up the habit of sowing discord on the continent.

Fake news has two "small" problems.

  • if that were the case, it would be enough for the other states to turn to the European court of justice and get their share of the doses. This would be a blatant violation of the treaties.
  • Pfizer-BioNtech has raised the alarm that it is unable to meet the "official" demands of the EU, USA, UK and others. Let alone the requests of the gombloddo.
  • a batch of 30,000 vaccines was also canceled from the Germans for logistical reasons

One might wonder why this rain of bullshit from the Italian press, but to do so first we need to reflect on a particular:

Marcello Foa has nothing to do with a saw. He's never been made co-director of anything.

What we see at work is, as usual, an attempt to save a government that, let's face it, was not the best for dealing with a pandemic.

Come on, we are facing a pandemic with a government whose main party does not believe in vaccines but believes the existence of sirens to be likely, whose "high" leader defines Montalcini as "Old Whore". What could possibly go wrong?

The Italian press, that is, behaves exactly as described by Ennio Flaiano:

flaiano

Let's go to the first chapter:

"Always ready to indicate in others the causes of their own impotence or defeat"

Italy has vaccinated something like ~ 33,000 people in all. To date, Germany has vaccinated ~ 170,000

impfung

Bavaria

It is an embarrassing number for the Italian government, Bavaria alone has vaccinated more than the whole of Italy, and it is mainly due to the fact that more refrigeration centers have been built to hold the vaccine, and more vaccination centers.

Let me be clear, even the British have done well, by now millions have been vaccinated, because they left earlier, even if the daily pace is lower than the German one, it is still higher than the Italian one. With the British they will find the excuse that they started 15 days earlier (which in any case makes no sense on numbers, but the Italians don't like numbers).

Now, the problem is simple: let's assume that the vaccines continue to arrive without further hitches. With a logistical capacity many times greater, the gap is clearly destined to widen.

Soon the poor Italian will begin to ask his government the reason for his delay. If in 4 days you manage to vaccinate a fraction of people, you cannot fool yourself to recover on the sprint.

So there will be a dialogue of this type:

  • but why do we vaccinate the British, the French and the Germans?
  • because we have fewer refrigerators and fewer vaccination units.
  • and why didn't we do like them?
  • because we didn't have the money.
  • but the Mes also exists for this purpose.
  • but we don't want Mes because we are grillini.

and at this point the balls could turn bad. And it would be understandable: the Italian people don't like dying. And so the good old Italian press, which has always been a whore of politics, has already spread a lot of bullshit to protect the government: "the others" have bought all the vials.

it is a constant of the Italian press to become aggressive towards "others" every time the government shows its mediocrity, impotence or defeat.

Another key moment in politics also concerns the Chinese treaty. As you know, EU countries can move independently of European policy if there are NO existing European agreements. But if the European treaty arrives, it prevails over those of individual countries.

For example, the Italian government signed a treaty with China on the road & belt, the "silk road" (which was just as "political" as that of the EU, the CAI, but no journalist paid any attention to it then), but at the time the European one will be voted on, the European one will prevail and the European one will prevail in case the two go into conflict.

Now, it was really nice to see Uncle Xi's affectionate nephews go to see him with crates of oranges, as is done in some areas of the country, but the problem is that in the meantime the CAI will go into effect.

And here comes a small problem: how does Italy position itself in the CAI? Uhm.

cai ,

Do you see an Italian? There is Michel, but no Italian. Italy is the third European economy after France and Germany, the fourth is a good step away, but Italy was not present at the negotiations. What do you think will be the specific advantages and specific dossiers of Italy in these treaties, if the nation was absent?

Of course, other nations were absent too, but due to the clustering of Europe, they were represented in some way by Germany or France, depending on how closely the interests coincide.

Now, what will happen when it turns out that the treaty only concerns investments, that being Italy made up of SMEs they are a relative problem (they are too small to invest large amounts, while it is pressing for Germany and France), while and 'discussion on agri-food postponed to the future. Shot, huh?

Once again the Italian press a-la-Flaiano will pull a rabbit out of the hat, and will rely on what has been sown: “but that treaty is worth nothing, it's just a rough guide. What about human rights? Huh? Eh? "

Here, the Italian press has thrown up its series of bullshit in order to pave the way for all the excuses that will come out, when someone goes to the government (this or another) to ask for an account of the failures, impotences and defeats of the government.

The press described very well as "Fascism" by Ennio Flaiano.

You don't need Foa to make it what it is. Enough in itself.
