Giving a purpose to this season of the blog has not been easy. Initially I had only reopened to resume familiar with writing in Italian. I had (and have) fear that living abroad and rarely speaking in Italian, my worst Italian (even beyond the current disaster) .it is a phenomenon that often known among expats. But today I had as lighting, due to the fact that I went to celebrate (late) my birthday in a “traditional German” restaurant the menu had written “if you want the impiattamento, get out of here with your hands up”.
