The mountain of shit theory

FI and PD, the end of the fight.

When I write articles like the one I wrote about Schlein, I usually see outraged comments that the Democratic Party has ideas, that it always has had them, and still does. Aside from the fact that Thanos was obviously right and is going to be my favorite superhero, the problem is that maybe these people have been on another planet for the past 25 years.

After the end of the Soviet empire, the PCI was in a comatose state. And as if that weren't enough, the huge funds that arrived (demonstrably) until 1991 (no, Berlinguer never made any breakthrough) never arrived again.

This was a problem, but don't worry: Occhetto arrives and changes its name to PdS. The trouble is that we don't understand what the PdS is, given that Rifondazione leaves taking with him the best of folklore. But be careful, because there are two billionaires who intend to fight, who intend to use politics as a battlefield, who need a political party.

Berlusconi and De Benedetti.

Berlusconi, who saw the collapse of the PSI, no longer wants to rely on external parties, and decides to found one. De Benedetti, who doesn't have the same experience, notices the PdS is in liquidation and buys it.

From that moment on, and for 25 years, politics disappeared from the country. For 25 years, Italian politics has been the battleground between two billionaires: Berlusconi and De Benedetti. The PD, a party in which De Benedetti has membership number one (he is therefore the founder), fights for the right to buy Mondadori at the favorable price offered by Prodi (De Benedetti would have paid Mondadori about 500 billion lire, Berlusconi 2000, i.e. the market value). Berlusconi wants to keep it.

Normally they would be matters resolved in court, while the country makes politics and tries to solve its problems. Because one thing needs to be said: if many still regret the old DC, or the First Republic, it is because in the first republic some form of politics existed, and ideas were discussed.

But since politics has become the battlefield of the clash between two billionaires, Berlusconi and De Benedetti, politics has disappeared in Italy.

Both have created a party. Berlusconi introduced himself directly, De Benedetti preferred to buy a party that already existed, focusing on the brand and the customer base, to put it in modern terms.

But at that moment, and for 25 years, politics disappeared in Italy. Each of the two factions used the billionaire's money to buy and ally parties that had no reason to be together: on the right, the Lega and AN, one secessionist and one centralist nationalist. On the left, Rifondazione goes into government with the former Christian Democrats.

All you hear is that “gomunisti gaddivi”, “gonfliddoh di inderesseh”, “bunga bunga”, “misery of error and bites”. In a spiral of stupidity never seen before, politics disappears completely, replaced by this kind of wrestling for idiots, which is the fight between two billionaires.

And everything relates to the clash between two billionaires: there are no longer real economic policies, no real ideas to discuss, what we expect happens when a man with printed paper (De Benedetti) meets a man with televisions (Berlusconi ).

A classic example is when Berlusconi begins to negotiate the sale of Mediaset with Murdoch. It would be the solution to the problem of the "conflict of interest", but De Benedetti sends his poodle, Massimo d'Alema, to say that "Mediaset is a resource for the country". As it happens, De Benedetti was shitting himself just at the idea of Murdoch entering the Italian market.

In this condition, the truth is simple: FI and PD are just two condoms that the two billionaires use trying to fuck each other. There is no more politics (except what it takes to seem like political parties), the programs are slogans, and the priorities revolve completely around the two businesses of the billionaires in question: when the right is in power Berlusconi's accounts improve, when there is the left De Benedetti's accounts improve.

The problem with 25 years of this music is that the clash has come to an end. All wars end, and armies return to their barracks.

The trouble is that the battlefield is devastated.

I'm not talking about the fact that the country's accounts are in shambles after 25 years of "Enriching Berlusconi against enriching De Benedetti". I'm not talking about the fact that the school is in pieces, that hydrogeological balance hasn't been done for decades, because everything was functional to the game of pawns between two billionaires.

I'm talking about the fact that Italians have NOT heard about politics for 25 years, and I'm talking about the fact that almost nobody remembers politics anymore. I'm talking about the fact that while De Benedetti and Berlusconi were fighting using the country as a battlefield, both parties have COMPLETELY lost any ideal connotation, becoming sloagan and counter-sloagan, specializing in communication: but it shouldn't come as a surprise, given that they were pawns of two large groups in the world of communication.

After the war between the two billionaires, the two parties have not only lost funding. They have lost their reason to exist. Both PD and FI are now puppets that no one pulls the strings.

FI, which was directly linked to the leader, collapsed together with him: today it is exactly like Berlusconi. An old parchment, held up by the stitches of the surgeons, who still deludes himself that young women like him just because he counts on Timosexuality, is the perfect symbol (and name) for Forza Italia.

The same goes for the PD. The party of a Swiss billionaire who has now preferred to sell his Italian assets to Gedi to leave more liquidity to his son. A parchment and angry face like a Swiss touched on the wallet, unpresentable, who in recent times has been trying to defend dying interests, such as coal-fired power plants, with the surly stinginess typical of the rich Swiss, and the sense of superiority towards the Italy, also I speak of the Swiss, rich or not.

Two parties that are condemned to grow old and die together with their founders and financiers, who no longer need them.

The difference between the two is that while FI was a party tied to the person, with the president in the statute, and therefore resigned to dying with the person of Berlusconi, the PD seems to want to forget the fact that it was De Benedetti's condom since the collapse of the wall.

On the one hand there are those who believed in it. Those who did not want to understand that they had become De Benedetti's sycophants, not even when they were all together shouting "Berlusgoni catty!" as earthquakes devastated the country, as debt spreads exploded, all they did was tie everything back to Berlusconi, as if that were the bigger problem. Imagine that on the sinking Titanic the greatest concern of the passengers had been to insult Edward Smith. This has happened.

And today they still believe they were a party. They really think they are the heirs of the PCI, or something like that. They don't realize that that container was dead, and that it was resurrected by the founder of a new party (as well as card number one), who put together a bunch of ex Christian Democrats, ex PCI, ex tutto, for the precise purpose to thwart another billionaire.

The first problem of the Democratic Party voter is that he hasn't understood that he has fought, for at least the past 25 years , for a Swiss billionaire.

He did not understand that the PdS was the political equivalent of the mountains of debris that remained, in Berlin, of the old wall, and that the continuation of that party was only the liquidation of old assets and loyal customers, towards another subject founded and built by a Swiss billionaire.

They didn't get it, and they don't understand it. They didn't understand what the purpose of the PD operation was, because they didn't even notice the PD operation. They think they have been in the party all along, and not De Benedetti's condom.

And now that they no longer serve the Swiss billionaire, they don't understand. They are disoriented. If the PD were a party, that is, it would be in opposition with its ideas, it would discuss politics, programs, it would not be paralyzed by the complete uselessness of its officials, who today have no purpose and limit themselves to maintaining their positions .

The voter of the Democratic Party does not understand this decadence, because he does not understand that he voted for the puppet of a Swiss billionaire, and therefore does not understand that now the Swiss billionaire is no longer interested in that puppet.

When the PD voter asks himself "why don't we do politics?" does not understand that that party no longer has the structures, it no longer has the internal processes, it no longer has the methods for making politics, because it has never been built to do it, since the times when the number one card , a Swiss billionaire, did not decide to build the "PD".

After all, if politics had become involved, the differences between the "left" and someone like Paola Binetti would have emerged. If they have not emerged, it is because the seats and opportunities did not exist. But the Democratic Party was not born to do politics, it was born as an electoral club to oppose Silvio Berlusconi. He didn't need to play politics, just to be in parliament.

The fate of the PD, like FI, is sealed.

The only difference will be that while the FI voter knows that that party ages and dies together with Berlusconi's interests, those of the PD roam the country with the alienated air of one who cannot explain what he sees, of those who can't explain the electoral results, those who don't understand "why we don't do politics".

No FI voter marvels at the election results. No FI voter can't explain what's happening, no FI voter asks himself "why don't we do politics anymore?".

On the contrary, the voters of the Democratic Party have not fully understood that they have been De Benedetti's condom, they have not understood that De Benedetti has now come from now, and they have not understood that they cannot stop an equally inevitable decline, symmetrical to that of FI, simply because they didn't understand what happened after Berlusconi's first electoral victory onwards.

They didn't understand what they were, what they fought for, what they were for.

To call them idiots is a compliment.
