The mountain of shit theory

More oxygen for everyone.

More oxygen for everyone.

I have to be honest, what I'm seeing happening around in the Italian press, more than a series of tragedies, looks like a Darwin treatise, on how the human species, despite all the technological progress, tries to improve its genetics through selection.

How many years are it that every fucking year we talk about crumbling glaciers and avalanche accidents that have increased due to climate change. Just use google and you will find everything:

Because the avalanche risk increases
Interview with the climatologist Antonello Pasini of the CNR who explains to Agi a phenomenon in contin

More oxygen for everyone.

Now, how do you judge a person who,

  1. knowing that glaciers are falling apart,
  2. knowing that climate change exists,
  3. knowing that there is a particular and abnormal hot perturbation in the sky,
  4. knowing that climate change increases the risk of avalanches

go walking under a glacier?

Surely, given the Italian taboo concerning the dead, now people will read me with annoyance. The dead man is always a saint. It is forgiven. You can't judge. And therefore one could not / should tell the truth. But I can't shut up. Those people have a name:

More oxygen for everyone.

I really do not understand all the articles of those who say "it could not have been foreseen", "civil protection is needed", "now let's not demonize walks under the glaciers".

Of course. And who would ever dream of demonizing the tiger shark? Has anyone ever said that you can predict the exact moment when you will be eaten by diving into a shark pool? There are people who did and survived, after all.

So, why should we think it is risky to go walking under a glacier, while there is record heat, glaciers are melting all over the world, and experts warn that with global warming the risk of avalanches increases? What could possibly go wrong?

Do you really want me to call the fruit of arrogance, indifference and idiocy an "accident"? Should I call it "fatality"? But do me the favor….

It also bothers me that I seem to see the story of the guy being hit and bitten by a ferocious turtle. If it happens to you in the water, I can understand it.

But if it happens to you on the ground that a ferocious turtle ambushes you, you try to escape, and the turtle chases you and bites you, or you have serious problems walking, or something is wrong with your story.

Global warming is now evident. It is no longer a theory, in the sense that we see it at work. If during a drought it turns out that the whole of northern Italy is a monoculture that goes from grapes to Prosecco, corn and rice, that is, things that suck up a tremendous amount of water, and that it continues so as to YEARS, and that every year the Po is reduced in scope, well, it is not an "emergency". It is rather a "negligence".

When you say these things, people try to throw it into politics: one even asked me "who would take responsibility for prohibiting the cultivation of plants that need a lot of water".

I'll tell you: the first law of thermodynamics. Because, to say it all, now all those fields will dry up, the rice fields have already gone to hell, and those plants will die. There is no need for a municipal resolution or a law. The countryside is devastated. Who takes responsibility for thermodynamics?

Sadi Carnot, considered the father of modern thermodynamics. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nicolas_L%C3%A9onard_Sadi_Carnot

Now, do you think the peasants of northern Italy, who are so smart and intelligent, will understand that they have to give up those crops that require a lot of additional water (in addition to rain), and switch to crops that require little, if any?

Obviously not. Why not? Because I'm one

More oxygen for everyone.

And do you have any idea how much annoyance it gives, when you want me to call it "emergencies", of things that repeat themselves the same every year, things we have known about for decades, phenomena that repeat themselves because people don't stop doing the wrong thing?

No, they are not emergencies. I have no mercy and I cannot have it.

There are things that are now rituals. They happen every year. Likewise. For the same reasons. Caused by people who know the risks, but choose to risk it anyway.

Every year the same mafia sets the same fires. Every year corn is sown and the Po is lowered. Every year people go out to sea with the red flag. Every year some idiot goes for a walk where it shouldn't and leaves us the skin.

Then comes winter. And every year some jerk goes off-piste skiing. And every year some jerk goes to climb something they shouldn't have climbed. And every year some sucker finds himself in jail in Corrottistan, where he went to compete with local business knowing the level of corruption. Every year someone is kidnapped while he is a volunteer in areas that should be nuked with cobalt.

But every time, I'm asked to "imagine it happens to me". NO, FUCK, it doesn't happen to me. Because an IQ of 10 is enough to learn from something that has already happened a thousand times.

And every year, the press expects my condolences. He tells me what the dead did, he explains their dreams, he explains where they worked and how many people loved them.

They would like to convince me that, in some way, their death was unjust. Some ask that investigations be opened to "shed light" on the incident.

Do you know what you see when the light comes out?

Here's what you see:

More oxygen for everyone.
A fucking monkey playing with a grenade.

I don't want to know who gave the monkey the grenade. And I don't even care what the hell the monkey did to make it explode.

The problem is that a monkey playing with a grenade is like a guy who goes, in the middle of global warming, in the summer, with a very hot and extraordinary anticyclone in progress, to walk under a glacier. He is like someone who sows corn while for years there have been problems with the water of the Po.

I don't feel sorry. I feel no pity. I don't identify with it. I don't identify with it because if it happened to me, before I died I'd think that I looked for it, and even deserved it.

Trust me, it's all oxygen per capita.

Rejoice, villagers.

And the relatives of the victims? Don't I think about the relatives of the victims? Of course I think about it. They have DNA in common with idiots.

I don't give a FUCK: where were they, the "relatives of the victims", when their relatives decided to do a blatant, very risky bullshit, destined to end badly?
