it’s fun to see take to the streets citizens against local governments that have voted, because it shows one thing I’ve always thought: Italians do not make opposition, at most have economic problems. That does not begin to protest against injustice and against the bad administration, but against the impact of a bad administration has on their wallets.
One might ask “but really the Romans needed two years to understand who they were dealing with?
