The mountain of shit theory

The second shower of reality.

I had described here that an explosion of covids was waiting for us at very high rates when winter came, and the explosion has arrived. the problem is not to say “I said so”, but to ask what it implies.

Because covid-19 wasn't just a story of a virus that kills (we'll get to that later). It is the story of an attempt to use communication against reality. It starts with the Chinese government, which has released false and reassuring data on the epidemic, in an attempt to deny its seriousness. And as if that weren't enough, it perseveres in its falsity, in the sense that even today it claims that a lockdown of 3% of the population that took place 6 months ago has resolved the problem definitively. We go to the USA whose president tells all kinds of fairy tales, including that of being sick and being healed in 3 days, like Christ. The bad luck is that Christ, from what I read, had a whole other technique to solve the problem.

The problem is that the Western mass media have kept the population good, which has suffered unspeakable abuses (from precariousness to the disappearance of the middle class, up to the reduction of the person to a "human resource", if not "work for visibility" ) spewing tons of fiction on the population, completely disconnected from reality.

First of all, for example, everyone was told that private welfare works. People were told that moving the production of medicines to India and China was a sensible thing, because in the West we would all be doing more creative and intellectual jobs.

Now try to defeat the virus with a javascript if you can.

Obviously, the privileged part of the population (I remind the idiots that even a poor Westerner, because of welfare, is richer than many workers in the third world) desperately demands that this narrative resist.

For example, during the first phase of the virus in Southern Italy it was deluded that it was the climate, or sea, or sentimiento, or core, to keep away the virus, which mainly affected the evil northerners. This narrative was reassuring for the southerners, but what if the virus now explodes in the south? It happens that the narrative collapses.

Let me be clear, no one in the West is immune to this narrative. People were scandalized because Boris Johnson argued that the cause of the spread of the virus in the UK is the fact that in 1945 England fought against Nazi-fascism and this love for freedom (apparently their own, given the colonial past) would be the "venial sin" that affects the country.

In Germany, sources (usually close to Bild, ie AfD) have argued that the country has had very few deaths (less than Lombardy) because in other countries people spend time hugging and kissing. I mean, you get sick because you are snooty and you spend your time making out with whoever you see. Did you know, because Beatrix Amelie Ehrengard Eilika von Storch is very important to us. But the problem is that the exponential trend we see will eventually saturate the massive array of nearly 60,000 intensive care stations now built everywhere. What will happen when Beatrix realizes that the problem is not making out too much?

mah

Every nation has deluded itself that it has excellent local virtues for which the virus would not have hit "just us". Before, the Russians said that they have a population now hardened by the icy climate (nothing is thrown away from General Winter), then they invented a vaccine tested on Putin's daughter ("Putin's daughter" therefore wins the "shit job 2020 award" ”), And now that the second wave has arrived, the vaccine is not seen and they announce that they have built large missiles. What could possibly go wrong?

I don't want to comment on Pappalardi, Montesani and Salvini because it would be like shooting migrants who drown in the sea. OPS! We knew Salvini, we know that the Italian generals are fucking heads since the days of General Casero . But the Coronavirus has allowed us to understand how much of the TV actors and characters we were crazy about in the 80s. A delusion.

And since the first wave was all in all light (compared to how the second is expected), all the countries told each other that the worst was over, that they had resisted thanks to the legendary qualities of courage and discipline of their country, and that in the end it was worse for the others because the virus would punish them for their vices. Suckling shit.

In general, I see around a whole series of narratives that aim to deny reality, with the difference that today, unlike the initial stages, we do not rely only on FALSE data from the Chinese government, but we have our own data.

Yet, all narratives are aimed at belittling. I read today that the interior minister "rules out another lockdown". As if she decided.

And here we return to the shower of reality: the minister does not decide whether there will be a lockdown or not. The virus decides it . If the death toll is very high, whether the minister likes it or not, another lockdown will have to be made. And this is true everywhere.

The point that seems to have disappeared from culture is that reality is a major force , and that it prevails over narrative. Ministers who believe they can decide whether to lockdown or not, confindustries who believe they can decide whether the economy can stop, enriched who think they can decide whether "beautiful people" are at risk or not in their prized local. Everyone tried desperately to disconnect from reality.

The first wave has only scratched the crust of fiction that has led Westerners to live, so far, in a world of fairy tales. Some have made it down during the winter, only to return to swakko during the summer, not caring about it en masse, with the usual attitude of "if everyone does a lot of caciara in class, then the teacher can't do anything about it" . Aha.

But covid is a strange teacher, because it can punish millions of people.

If the numbers are what I think, and there are actually the two sub-strains with the rates that I think, this time around the deaths will be counting in the hundreds of thousands, if not millions. I'm not talking about infected (a number that has so far been manipulated by manipulating the number of tampons made) but about deaths. A difficult number to manipulate.

And so Mayor Sala will understand that he does not decide on teleworking, but decides reality. The minister will understand that he does not decide on the lockdown, but the reality. And millions of shopkeepers and diehard conspiracy theorists will probably have to understand that conspiracy theories are only valid if you are in a bar and want to look like the one who knows most of all.

But the virus is real, and its progress does NOT depend on opinion.

For example, one narrative says that the virus also kills young people. True. But we must put the numbers: the percentage of deaths is completely unbalanced towards the elderly. If the number of deaths were to reach Spanish levels, with the current distribution, the ruling class throughout the West would be devastated, and especially that dome that owns practically more than 50% of the assets would be wiped out. Immense amounts of assets would pass from generation to generation in no time.

The social and economic effects of all this are not matters of narrative. These are issues related to a physical phenomenon called "reality", which physicists only partially know, but the rest of the Western population seems to want to ignore at any cost.

Well. Now is the time for a nice shower of reality. It's coming, I'm afraid.

And I hope that in the end we will all have understood a very simple thing: that reality does not “knock on the door”.

The reality -> is <- the door.
