Dear Afghan girl …

These days the Western newspapers are asking themselves, all together, what will become of the Afghans, and of the Afghans, when the whole country is under the control of the Taliban.

The answer is obvious: it will be a bloodbath. But there is one thing that needs to be said, and that will make most people dislike me.

It's a well-deserved bloodbath.

First of all, it must be said that the defense forces left by the Westerners were about three times more numerous than the Taliban, and better armed. After 20 years of training and arming, they were fairly capable of resisting.

Sure, it's hard to predict the outcome of a war, but that army didn't "fight and lose".

He didn't fight at all.

They left the camp and went home. Knowing what was going to happen.

So all the Afghan girls who are wondering why the Americans left today should ask themselves a question:

"why is our father gone"?

He left because he wanted the Taliban . That's all.

Americans, as well as others who have participated in this war, do not have the duty to defend you forever. Your father has that duty. Your brother. Your mother. Your husband.

And now we have to ask ourselves what, in fact, THEY have done in the past 20 years. Have they changed their minds about religion, sharia law, democracy, freedom?

Let's imagine that, after the fall of Nazism, the whole Nazi apparatus was left alive. That Nuremberg had been made, the top hierarchs had been hanged, but then the NSDAP had been left in its place. Back to propaganda, patrolling the streets, writing newspapers, teaching Nazism to school children, and all that.

At that point, at some point the allies leave the country: what happens next? Obvious: it happens that the SS regain power in a second.

And you know very well, dear crying Afghan girl, who the SS of Afghanistan are. They are the religious. They are the ones who go up the tower every day and call prayer.

You left them in their place. In schools. In the mosques. On the radios. To write books. To write newspapers. To preach. You left the problem in its place , because Westerners thought about it so much.

We must be clear about one thing: when the French Revolution ended, it was an orgy of blood. And the priests were killed like dogs, everywhere.

And it is for this reason that today France is a secular country.

Civilized villages are built on the blood of guillotined priests. And it is the right thing to do, because being the religious inherently evil, letting them live means finding themselves with the same problem soon after.

But you left them in their place. And now that the Westerners are leaving, the problem returns.

Oh, I know you're going to use the usual logical fallacy now. But I don't give a damn. I don't care if that's true Islam or not. I don't care if that is a more or less moderate, oxidized, reflective or sesquipedale Islam. I don't care if Imam Jassem is the good one while Ali is the bad one. I do not care.

You don't care. It is you who will be killed now. Solving the problem of good, bad and moderate Islam was your problem, not the Americans.

Of course, as I wrote, now your cronies will do some massacre in the West. And the bombs will rain again. Maybe they won't be bombs, and they will be just the latest drone discoveries. Or maybe it will be the new nuclear power plants put into operation by the US. As Trump said, "nice and smart".

And don't be fooled by the accuracy of a 5Kt bomb. It hits accurately, but being around isn't fun.

Do you understand now, that it was YOUR problem to behead a few thousand Imams to explain to them to stay in their place?

And if not yours, it was your father's problem. Your brother's. And of the men of your country whose precise duty was to defend you.

Now, if some very religious neighbor saw you going out without a burqa, you're dead. They will come to kill you.

And all the hypocritical newspapers in the world will say that you died because we didn't defend you. That it was WE who had to protect you.

But no one will tell the truth: that you died because your father did not defend you.

You know what one thing I noticed, shit pits like your country and the like?

That when Westerners come and try to help, they get fierce opposition.

But when the butcher on duty arrives, none of this happens. The Taliban are not in danger of getting a mortar round. They don't risk jumping on a mine. They don't risk a suicide bomber in a car full of explosives.

No group of religious fanatics has ever had a thousandth of the fierce opposition and resistance that Westerners have when they try to help.

And do you know why?

Because deep down, you are the Taliban. Everyone. You have it inside. They tell me your school was built by Westerners. How many died to do it? Many.

Now the Taliban are coming and they will destroy it. Do you know how many deaths they will suffer from this? Zero.

Nobody in your country will oppose a cent of the fierce resistance, violence and guerrilla warfare that Westerners have encountered against the Taliban.

You will soon be sentenced to death. When that happens, try to look your hangman in the face (what can still go wrong?). Do you know what you will see?

You will see your father's face.

Instead of asking why Westerners have turned your back on you, ask your father, every AFGAN man you meet , why THEY have turned your back.

Because the task of giving you freedom and happiness was your father's. Not a Western boy sent to blow up a mine.

But you prefer not to ask yourself this question. You prefer to think, as usual, that it is the duty of others to defend yourself while your father, your brother, your mother and perhaps you too, go to the mosque to pray, to feed the cancer that is about to shoot you in the back of the head.

All this happens, and it happens to you, because the Taliban are Afghans, and the Afghans are Taliban. Not even Malala stopped wearing a veil on her head. He has never abandoned the religion that is about to kill you. She got safe and now it's all your business.

I don't want to hear whimpering. It was your job to clean up the country to prevent that stuff from happening again. You haven't done anything. Everything that has been done to give you something Westerners have built and wanted.

But it wasn't our job. It was your father's job.

Ask him why he turned his back on you. Not to us.
