The mountain of shit theory

Now that Draghi is no longer needed.

Now that Draghi is no longer needed.

In the Anglophile narrative of recent months, both the outcome of the epidemic (it was an announced victory of the US and UK) and that of the Italian government were written: (putting in power a Draghi who managed the Recovery fund). And the end of the story (written by the Anglophiles) was a Brussels that did its own thing, downsized by the failure of the vaccination campaign (failure built at the table) and therefore "malleable" to the diktats of the Anglophiles.

Unfortunately, the narrative has missed a detail, which is about to end the story in a different way. The German elections.

In fact, in the Anglophile narrative it is taken for granted that in some way the political balance in Germany remains unchanged, that is, that the support of the motherland for Ursula von der Leyen remains unchanged. It was counted, trusting in the good results of the first wave, that the consent in Germany would keep the CDU / CSU in power, keeping the balance in Europe, and therefore that a weakening of the EU would not affect its policy.

But things are not going like this: the disaster obtained with a continental blockade (I mean that the US and UK do not export while the EU exports) has affected Germany, and in the next elections there will be a predictable triumph for the Greens. What kind of government will emerge is not yet clear (even a two-tone Verdi-CDU is possible from the projections – because the SPD does not ally with the Greens as a second / third party even if you beat them), or something like Verdi CDU FDP (difficult balance because FDP is strongly liberal in the economic sense).

But the point is that, once the victory of the Greens has been sanctioned, consensus in the EU is lacking at Von Der Leyen. The support in the motherland that has sustained it up to now, and pushed it to where it is, is lacking.

What does it mean? And why are the Greens not keeping up with the current EU leadership?

  • the US can forget that Germany is buying gas transported by ship. The idea of filling the northern coasts with regasifiers gives him hives and there is no way to convince the Greens. The German Greens are also opposed to North Stream II, because they want a complete conversion to renewable sources. But even if the US persuaded the industrialists to build a network of regasifiers, clearly the route of the ships would be shorter if they came from Russia. And the lower costs. And the greens certainly won't buy shale gas. They are a few hundred kilometers to the east or 8000 from the west. In any case, it does not happen that you buy gas from Biden. So if the North Stream arrest could be a victory, then Biden will have to watch when they say "puppa your gas I don't buy it", too bad you count on it. to make Germany dependent on its gas.
  • The US can forget that Germany participates more in NATO. The Greens are anti-militarists and want to get rid of the atomic bombs housed in American bases in Germany. There is no mention of increasing the US military presence, and in the program of these elections they say that if anything it will have to be a European army (to be built). On their website, the Greens propose to cancel this NATO and rewrite it in a more "European" way.
  • The whole program of the Greens is concentrated in Germany, and for Europe they leave only the same thing to build outside their borders. You can easily check this on their website: their sloagan is that “Germany can do more with its own resources”. It means isolating oneself as the Scandinavian countries do, which are the cultural model of the Greens.
  • The German Greens criticize the Russians, but propose to solve human rights problems using "dialogue" and to lift European sanctions. In short, another Östpolitik. Hard for Biden to digest.

And here is what went wrong: someone deluded himself that he could put the EU in difficulty without changing anything in the states that make it up. Instead, what happened put the CDU in Germany in trouble. OPS.

As soon as Von der Leyen is in trouble together with the popular group (which, coincidentally, the sovereigns have already weakened by coming out of it), everything she has done will be under discussion. You can be sure that the Nordic penalty takers, who have tremendous cultural influence on the German Greens, will demand that the Recovery Fund be rewritten in an even more ecological way. But the rewriting times will be epochal, the countries of northern Europe will oppose, with the tremendous fascination they have on the greens, the figures at stake.

You will probably get something completely different than the Recovery Fund. Or a Recovery FUnd with a guide so different as to make it unusable for Italian purposes.

Therefore, the cycle of the anti-European campaign concerning vaccines will be as follows:

  • Hey, Europe is a shit, USA cool USA cool! Look how they beat the virus!
  • [six months later] hey … how come my wallet is thinner?
  • Because you are part of Europe, asshole. Not the USA. Look how you failed!

This is the reason why I have titled that Draghi will soon no longer be needed. Because after the German elections the Recovery Fund will be dead and buried . And even if they did not officially stop it, they would thicken it with bureaucracy until it becomes unusable.

Of course, the Greens are for very great European integration. But coincidentally it must take place on the same topics as the home program, and doing the same things. Which means that in Germany the program will probably be applied, and then the EU will be asked to "integrate" by doing the same. Which means (in case of their victory), given the European resistance, that the fine words will remain in Germany, their beautiful programs will be implemented in Germany, the rest of Europe will remain the sloagans and some unfinished or half-completed action. .

Only one thing will remain certain: the decision by the US and UK not to allow the export of vaccines while the EU must export to them, has killed about 35,000 more Italians, or if you prefer, about 230,000 more Europeans.

But no one, you will see, will point out the fact that Biden is saying "America First": not even when he says it to your face:

Now that Draghi is no longer needed.
America First: Meanwhile, Europeans continue to export their vaccines. They call us when they're done, okay?

At the beginning of the pandemic, Trump tried to buy a German company, CureVax, to secure "America First" vaccines. There was a general outrage. As soon as BioNtech announced its vaccine, Pfitzer came forward, and now American production (the most abundant) is blocked by the US government. USA First.

Do you see any scandal?

And yes, those 230,000 Europeans, of which ~ 35,000 Italians, who died from this vaccine embargo will be left without justice.

Because Nazism is not dead. Has moved.

But the point of this post is much simpler: thanks to the political changes linked to this planned failure in favor of the Anglo-Saxons, Draghi is no longer needed. The recovery fund will die in the next German elections.

And with him, the need for Dragons.
