The mountain of shit theory

The fourth estate has become tyranny.

I don't want to talk so much about the usual famous ones, but the whole story has political aspects that cannot and should not go unnoticed. Because it's true that a dictator who abuses a great power dislikes it, but he also makes a half-saw who abuses a SMALL power.

I'm referring to the half-saw journalist who is sending his henchmen to investigate, with the friends of a famous "singer", to find out if he was gay during his high school years, or if he had other skeletons in his closet.

The title of mezzasega derives mainly from a consideration: we are talking, it seems, of things that happened in high school. Now, during my high school period I was definitely not a shin of a saint, to say it all more like the Antichrist's dildo, but even if you went to my old high school friends to investigate, what would you ever discover, to constitute a subject of scandal TODAY?

What the hell could a sixteen year old have done in high school to be a "skeleton in the closet" today? You will only find bullshit. Sure, the beguines of the village had amplified them to the point of making the air unbreathable, but that's not journalism. You talk to us at the hairdresser. You give us the preaching of the priest to four parchment beguines, against the shirts with the devil of the one who has long hair and two earrings on the same ear. You will understand.

And I don't know what the skeletons were in young Federico's closet, but I honestly doubt that they will end up on wikileaks together with snowden's revelations. And then, exactly, I say half saw because he's wasting his time doing trivial bullshit.

Also because Fedez grew up in a rather urban reality, where nobody gave a shit. He didn't have the scandal of twenty years earlier, nor the horrid province, to frame him. Even if he crossed the pea with a friend, amen.

But the odious thing about this event is not the boundless expanse of human shit (cit.) implied by these "journalists": what sucks is the intent, the method. Since Fedez is a political opponent in Sanremo (we are still in the field of minchiatine, therefore), now a dossier on fedez has to go to press, where we will accuse him of having made out with Arianna Z, known as "the Turkish toilet of the 2nd B ”, while drunk at a party.

The problem with this "conditioned reflex" is that it comes from the twenty years ago, when to hit those who were not fascist enough they were discredited, moving the entire network of centurions, decurions of the condominium, the work of volunteers and all that.

Like shit on macaroni, all this is covered by a press that, since the days of Travaglio at the Unit, has been increasingly a truncheon and lover of street trials.

If it is true that a good press is necessary for democracy, it is also true that a press like this is preparatory to dictatorship .

Because it is a real abuse:

  1. the intention is not to inform the public, for the simple reason that the source is not first hand.
  2. The intention is not to do great journalism, but to receive a pat-pat on the shoulder from some senator or deputy.

In this way, the scheme is simple: you show photos of a politician in an SS uniform, and he asks a friend for a favor, who then goes off to find your former friends and mobb them.

“Bundless expanse of shit” or “shovel of wax on the blank wall of journalism” are two very good definitions.

But there is one point missing. The editor of a newspaper, also for reasons of political affiliation, can order someone to dig into the past of a politician.

But we need to understand this: it is one thing if the opposition does it against a member of the government, another thing if the government does it against a member of the opposition, and another thing again if a goon of the government does it. against any citizen.

An opposition newspaper that begins to investigate against a member of a government is, in fact, the healthy part of the power of the press, of the fourth estate.

A government-linked newspaper that investigates an opposition politician is at least borderline, but it must only happen with money from the newspaper (and not, for example, from Rai).

A minor newspaper made up of henchmen of a government party, on the other hand, shouldn't afford to file a dossier against an ordinary citizen. Not even if this citizen has political opinions, EVEN less if he is an artist or a content producer of any kind.

And it is here that the Italian press is dangerously close to overstepping the mark.

The fourth power, that is, seems to have become a tyranny by now. Newspaper trials with automatic guilty sentences, which are carried out without guarantees by the company itself, for example.

fortunately they caught a big one, that is someone who has such an audience that he can comfortably crush a program which, fortunately, only people immune to schooling watch.

But we must also ask ourselves what would happen to those who do not have Fedez's share. And since it's not clear how they might defend themselves, well, it's a power that's not well balanced.

That is, it is a form of tyranny disguised as freedom. The fourth power must be disciplined.
