This is the real "italygate". Because the problem is not "whether the Italian interior ministry knows something". The problem is that even if there is nothing underneath, four years in the hole is enough for a foreign power to put whatever they want into it.
The relationship between the Trump administration and Italy, that is, cannot be normal: at any cost, even at the cost of sending Bannon here and having Salvini as interior minister.
