The beauty of de-colonization.

If you look at the mainstream social networks you will find that in the US there is very often talk of decolonization. Behind the decolonization lies the belief that every people of the world would live very well within their local Wakanda, if only they would send to that country everything that the West did during the colonial period.

In practice it is thought that the ONLY thing that has prevented Africa from becoming a giant Wakanda, and Asia from becoming a giant Yellow Wakanda, and so on. This idea is based on the assumption, therefore, of the West as the ONLY problem in the world, a greedy and evil West that has upset good and otherwise peaceful and very rich peoples for how peacefully and equally they divide resources, not like the wicked Westerners.

Good.

The trouble is, complete de-colonization is happening. It is happening in Hong Kong. Hong-Kong had been robbed of its very ancient civilization by the English decolonizers, who stole it from its happy Wakandan Chineseness to make it a "colony", that is, all the evil in the world. Exploitation, racism, machismo, metoo, and all. In short, the British evil Westerners have transformed a piece of happy Chinese in a hideous West.

But now everything changes, and Hong-Kong has been left by the evil albion. And so it can go back to being a piece of China, the Yellow Wakanda it always was. A wonderful place where everyone is smiling, wearing traditional costumes, free from Western influence.

and they die like flies.

Look closely at the advancing decolonization:

and take a good look at her, because that girl will never go home. Never.

And neither does he:

Isn't decolonization wonderful? And isn't it beautiful what is happening in Libya, where a nation free from Western influences, with their colonialism, is now in the paradise built by Russians and Turks?

Libya

After all, we already knew it: when IRAN decided to decolonize itself and reject Western influences, this happened:

Iran

(execution of gay people in IRAN).

Now, if you think these images are horrible, you have to think about one thing: out of 8 billion people, only something like 1 billion-odd has something like "human rights". The remaining 7 billion inhabitants can be tortured and / or killed by their government at any time (unless they are rich & powerful).

Years ago it was believed that human rights came with well-being, and therefore it was thought that countries like China, enriching themselves, would arrive at democracy, the rule of law and human rights, but now the principle is clear: even countries that are very rich like Saudi Arabia or very powerful and opulent like China can remain without democracy, the rule of law and human rights.

as an ideal, human rights are, and remain, the prerogative of an (im) precise ethnic group of people, called "Westerners".

And it is absolutely true that these things came to Hong Kong with the evil colonization…. brrr. But now that the de-colonization has begun, and the re-Chineseization has begun, are you really convinced that they have gained? As far as we can see, it doesn't seem like it. But we are Westerners and we underestimate the beauty of ending up in a Chinese gulag and being killed (or sterilized).

Why am I telling you about it? Because as China gains power (and power) the American and Western influence fades. Of course'. American imperialism and European colonialism are taking the oars by boat.

In the future, those six and a half billion human beings who today were being pushed (by the imperialist and Chauvinist campaign of the West) to embrace human rights, will be instructed not to care.

The global power of the West is in clear retreat. We are giving up on intervening. This does not mean that we will change a lot in our home, but the problem is that the rest of the world will soon follow the Chinese idea of state ethics.

Until now, a dictator who wanted to gass the population had to wonder how Westerners would react. Within 10 years, he will only wonder how the Chinese will react. Who will say "go ahead, what's the problem?".

Of course, it is wonderful that the West is no longer colonizing the world: in fact, in Hong Kong they celebrate every day, and in Iran they can hang homosexuals as much as they want.

So I have another proposal: let's abolish the right of asylum. It is a colonial legacy: a person who in Wakanda is justly and very negatively tortured and killed lives, in fact, in the best of all possible worlds, the one where the colonialism of the West has NEVER arrived. And therefore no one has ever talked about human rights. And it makes no sense for the West to rise to a higher culture, thinking it has to right a "wrong" suffered by the citizen of Wakanda: if the citizen of Wakanda is killed because he is gay, as happens in Uganda, to think that this is only wrong because it is wrong in the West it means taking the chair and explaining to Uganda-Wakanda how things should be. And so it's paternalistic colonialism.

This was once a theoretical discourse, but now it is becoming practical: why are we pissed about Regeni and Zaky in the end? Do we intend to impose Western concepts of "human rights" on Egypt? But this is cultural colonialism. In Egypt there is the Islamic university that has sanctioned that human rights are incompatible with Islam, so there are two cases: either we colonize them culturally and change Islam, or in Egypt we must do so.

abolish the right of asylum IMMEDIATELY. We cannot impose Western practices and Western culture of human rights on the world. Indeed, the "universal" declaration of human rights should be renamed into a "western" declaration of human rights.

And I was saying, this is about to become a practical problem. Because'?

Because as the world de-colonizes, we will have more and more people asking for "political asylum" saying that since in the Wakanda of the situation they want to skin their children alive, then they have the right to live here where we do not skin their children.

And since China will have nothing to complain about if someone skin their children, because we have de-colonized the world from the Western presence, and human rights are an invention and a custom of the "Western" group only (it is not a discussion: it is a fact), we cannot force everyone to do as we do, but especially we cannot give the same thing to anyone. Who said it was wrong to infibulate little girls? We Westerners, who have colonized those countries and tried to stop them. But what right did we have to make them stop? Are we superior? Is it up to us to decide for them?

Not anymore: the world, as Hong Kong shows, is de-colonizing.

The US is pulling the oars in the boat, globalization is dying out, and even European countries are not affecting the rest of the world that much. Morally, human rights are a European thing, like amatriciana and pate de fois gras and bratwurst. The rest of the world will be decolonized and will all become a Wakanda. Exactly as it is happening in Hong Kong and as it will happen in Taiwan, and as it happens in Egypt.

And it is absolutely wrong to guarantee the right of asylum to people whose rights have been violated, because it is a Western point of view, and the colonies no longer exist.

It is not up to us to decide the fate of Saudi women, or that of Iranian homosexuals: it would be colonialism. Iran is the beautiful Wakanda of the Shiites, and if the Shiites do so, who are we to decide that we must "save them"? Do we want to make it a colony to educate them? Do we want to impose our uses on them?

Hong Kong shows you what de-colonization is. Hong Kong citizens who protest and want British rules have been brought up to hate their own Chinese culture, a millennial culture that claims to kill people when it serves the state, or just for the state's amusement, or whatever the state says. . Point. It makes no sense to give them "political asylum": they are in the best possible world.

It is up to the Egyptians to decide what Egypt is, not the Italians. And if the Egyptians decide that Egypt is the place where people are tortured and killed, we have no right to colonize them and tell them otherwise: if you don't like it, don't go to Egypt. And to eliminate the risks, we keep the Egyptians out of the house. Point.

Colonialism is over, and the declaration of rights universal Western man will soon appear for what it is: a Western thing.

The others will do as they want, and Hong Kongers have the RIGHT to die in a very Chinese re-education camp, according to their customs and habits.

It is called "de-colonization".
